The idea of following any religion is fine. It is good that people think they are walking on the path which will eventually lead them to their creator. But the question is, are they really following everything down to the last letter?
If God created the entire Universe, shouldn’t everyone who believes in the idea of God be free from all the jealousy, hatred and animosity towards people of different color, caste, religion and most importantly, beliefs?
Shouldn’t you consider the fact that all the demigods like Jesus, Nanak, Muhammad, Krishna, Ram, etc. were a part of one same thing but because of their impure human emotions and desires, ended up creating various religions, leading to a creation of rift between the people?
Humans can hate their own brothers, parents, etc. but there is always a reason. I don’t see how hating someone over something that was created by someone centuries ago is acceptable!
Doesn’t God ever try to make you realize that you shouldn’t be hating people of other religions or color?
If God created everything and all of us are his “children”, what kind of parent do you think he is who created ways to make his own children hate and kill each other?
One example could be when Krishna led Pandavas to fight their own brothers and other relatives in a war and stated how it was the right thing to do as they were fighting the wrong.
The other example is, World War I! Also known as the Great War, it began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder catapulted into a war across Europe that lasted until 1918.
The Pandavas were fighting for the honor of the woman, “all five of them were married to”, and World War 1 happened as a result of an assassination.
So, there is no difference there. Or is there?
I just assume that God shouldn’t be more like humans. Also, no parents lead their children to fight one another for any reason whatsoever. He is some ‘Heavenly Father‘.
