Do You Wish To Become A Part Of God?

To everyone who follows one religion or the other:

Why do you go to Temples, Churches, Mosques, Gurudwaras, etc?

What purpose does it solve?

Even if we assume that going to these places does help in some way, there still has to be some criteria; some guidelines; some rules.

You can’t just go to these places of worship, offer your prayers, and expect everything to be fine.

At least not when while offering those prayers there are a hundred filthy thoughts racing through your brain;

‘Why is he successful’
‘He should lose his entire fortune’
‘I want that girl’
… and so on, and so forth.

You see, that is just not how it should work.

Your prayers, your beliefs, your faith; it is all supposed to be pure, true and free from all the worldly belongings and greed.

Not that you aren’t allowed to pray for yourself or ask for something. It’s like, you practically should have no right to ask for your daughter/sister’s safety when you molest and tease women every day.

If you wish to become a part of God, you need to leave all the worldly pleasures.

But then again, you are responsible for everything that happens in your lifetime.

You can’t just wake up one day and tell your folks that you are leaving everything behind and going on a quest to find peace.

If you believe that we are all a part of some grand plan, don’t you think you should play your role as efficiently as you can instead of running away in search of something you’ll never find?

Chubbhiyan vi laayian ne
Par ae mann fer vi ganda ae
Tere naam di mahima vi
Ruzgaar da dhandha ae

This means:

A person does everything in his lifetime; from bathing in the Holy Ganga to performing Hajj at the Mecca; but his/her thoughts always remain stained.

And all the places of worship; all the priests and those Babas; they just tell you what makes you afraid; they use His name to scare you and empower themselves; to run their business; to earn a hell lot of money.

His name is just a source of income; His name is used to prey on the weak!

P.S. If you are a man of God, why don’t you free yourself of all the filth and evil and become pure and unstained?

  1. For me a place of worship makes you realise that when it comes to God everyone is equal.. There is no discrimination whatever almighty gives it needs to be shared equally..One platform where you pray together..

  2. Hi Doctor Kaahsh,
Because we don’t follow God- it doesn’t mean God and their followers are wrong.
Sometimes holy land Varnasi too may look filthy, but the pollution is never felt as disgusting by the devotees filled in love for God.
. A warm and loving person like you deserves the best of life.Your true nature is appreciated by all!
    Warm Raksha Bandhan wishes!

  3. I’m not sure what the phrase or role of “the man of God” means anymore, if it means anything. For many on both sides of the phrase, it’s a title that bears entitlement. And really it shouldn’t. I think we’ve seen enough men of God acting godlessly that we can no longer merely trust the moniker. As with many things, the person needs to be the proof.
